More Information
With us, talent doesn’t stay confined to the rehearsal room. We put our students on stage in regular showcases – in front of a real audience, with real energy and real applause. We also invite guests from outside to these events, so they can experience first-hand the passion, progress and performance that our school has to offer.
Here, our students gain valuable live performance experience, test their skills in real-world conditions and develop as artists.
And best of all: selected acts will also have the opportunity to perform at our partner venues – the perfect next step on their musical journey.
A real stage. A real audience. A real experience.
Karo&Paul
Almost a home game:
Thanks to our partnership with the Reverb Hotel, our students are able to perform regularly at the KARO & PAUL Bar on the Bunker roof – an extraordinary venue with a unique atmosphere.
Here, our musicians not only gain their first live performance experience, but also learn to perform under real-world conditions: in front of a bar audience, with spontaneous reactions and a genuine sense of the stage. They take responsibility for their equipment, learn to manage their own set-up independently, and push themselves to new heights.
Above all, though, it’s about what really matters:
reaching and inspiring people through your own music, and creating a moment that will be remembered.
Real Stage. Real Crowd. Real Growth.
Our primary aim is to create more performance opportunities for up-and-coming artists, such as our students, and to provide a platform for voices that are not usually heard. In the heart of HafenCity, we have therefore launched a new concert series in collaboration with the Hafenbühne at the Pierdrei Hotel: Studio 3 comprises four concerts a year, at which current and former HSM students are given the opportunity to showcase their band projects.
Current Dates: 26.06. | 11.09. | 18.12.26
At the Le Méridien Hotel on Hamburg’s Außenalster, our more experienced students can play their first paid gigs and make important contacts. In doing so, they not only gain stage experience but are also ideally prepared for real-life work situations typical of the music industry.
This is how we ensure our students have good job prospects even whilst they are still training, and prepare them perfectly for everyday life as a musician.
The Kunstklinik in Eppendorf provides a wonderful platform for newcomers and a space for our students to organise their very first concerts.
